Shinhoo Canned nuclear power equipment comprehensive thermal hydraulic test project successfully passed the design scheme evaluation


On December 22, 2020, Hefei Shinhoo Canned Pump Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Hefei Shinhoo") organized and held the design review meeting of "Comprehensive Thermal Hydraulic Test Bench of Nuclear Power Equipment" in Shanghai Nuclear Energy Equipment Test and Verification Center Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Nuclear Energy Test Center") located in Shanghai Lingang. At the meeting, many experts from domestic nuclear power field conducted professional evaluation of the platform design.

The comprehensive thermal-hydraulic test bench for nuclear power equipment was jointly developed byShinhoo Canned and Shanghai Nuclear Energy Test Center in Hefei. The bench design is advanced and widely used. The test items include hot performance test of high temperature and high pressure pump, hot rod falling test of control rod driving machine line, hot life test of control rod driving mechanism, long-term wear test of fuel assembly, etc.

At the evaluation meeting, the expert group listened to the project's report on the functional parameters, technological process, electrical and instrument control system of the test bench. After discussion, the expert group unanimously agreed that the design scheme of the comprehensive thermal-hydraulic test bench of nuclear power equipment was reasonable and feasible, and unanimously agreed to pass the evaluation of the design scheme.

Thermal-hydraulic test bench can verify the safety performance of the system design and provide test data for nuclear power safety analysis and verification. It has become an indispensable experimental research platform in the development of nuclear power safety technology.
